A Yellow Dot could save your life. The Yellow Dot Program is designed to help first responders provide life saving medical attention after an accident at home or in your car. Cayuga County Sheriff David Gould says that the Yellow Dot is placed on the driver's side of your car or on the front door of your house. When first responders see the Yellow Dot, they know that the victim has health problems, such as medicine allergies or any ailments.
Yellow Dot Kits have saved many lives across the country by providing vital information to first responders. Sheriff Gould says the program helps victims and emergency responders.

In the Yellow Dot Kit are two yellow stickers, one for your car, and one for the front door of your house, and personal information cards, where you write down any information first repsonders would need to know. Those cards go in the car's glove compartment and in your freezer.
