Load up on Forever Stamps now or scrounge for pennies next year. The U.S. Postal Service is bumping up the cost of a first class stamp to 46 cents starting January 27th. Western New York Postal Service spokes person Karen Mazurkiewicz this way they can stay ahead of inflation
Mazurkiewicz says you can save money if you stock up on stamps now.
The U.S. Postal Service is also introducing a new stamp for overseas letters. Mazurkiewicz says the so-called Global Stamp will be easy to use.
The Postal Service also will increase rates on priority mail shipping, by 4%.
