The place, date, and time for Auburn's RISE and Walk Fundraiser for breast cancer has been confirmed. According to Auburn Rotary Club Board Member Ed Helinski, the Rise Walk is a go this Sunday at Hoopes Park in Auburn from noon to 3.
The 11th annual walk was scheduled for last Sunday but was canceled late last week due to fees being charged by the city of Auburn for use of a stage and to hang a banner across Genesee Street.
Hoopes Park is located on Genesee Street on Auburn's east side, across the street from Herman Avenue Elementary School.
