On 10/8/12 the Ontario County Sheriffs Office responded to FF Thompson hospital for a female being treated for injuries she received as a result of a domestic incident. She was later released from the hospital.
24 year old Nicholas Farnsworth of Victor was then charged with Assault in the 3rd degree and Criminal Obstruction of breathing. He was arraigned in West Bloomfield Town Court on these charges and an order of protection was issued.
As the investigation continued it was learned that Farnsworth was growing marijuana in his residence.
A search warrant was obtained for the house. During this search an unknown powder type material was located. The Monroe County explosive disposal unit was contacted to deal with this unknown material and safely removed it from the property. The material is being further tested at his time.
As the search progressed information was developed regarding a second grow location on Wood St. in the City of Canandaigua. A search warrant was also obtained for this location and additional marijuana plants were recovered. The marijuana will be dried to determine a weight and proper charges regarding the drugs at a later time.
