
Closing arguments had been over just a few minutes this afternoon before Judge Thomas Leone came out of his chambers to announce that he found 40 year old Ryan Brahney guilty of slaying his estranged girlfriend Bridget Bell last November in her Auburn apartment while the pair's 3-year-old son Finn was asleep
Brahney was found guilty on two counts of murder in the second degree, two counts of burglary in the first degree, one count of criminal possession of a weapon, and two counts of criminal contempt.

Sentencing is set for October 25th . Brahney could get 25 years to life.
