MMM..we have a burglar out there with out a sweet tooth. The Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary at the to the Fly by Night Cookie Company on Fancher Avenue in the Town of Sterling.
It's thought the break-in happened sometime between 9:00 pm Sunday and 8:00 am Monday . They say an unknown person or persons went into the store and stole the cash register, the phone and a tip jar but left all the sweet treats behind . Small items from inside the shop were found strewn across the lawn. Detective Steve Smith has been assigned to the case. He is at (315) 253-4869
