Breaking: Worker Falls Into Steep Ravine At Bristol Harbour

Rope teams got to the grounds keeper at Bristol Harbour Resort who fell down a steep ravine while operating a lawn-mower at golf course there.

Ontario County Sheriff's deputies say the 68-year-old man Douglas Preston Of Naples is a long-time employee and grounds keeper at the Bristol Harbour.

Other employees noticed the man was missing this morning just before 10 a.m. and went looking for him. The man may have been stuck in the gorge for up to four hours.

 Mercy flight took him to Strong in critical condition . He is in the ICU






Ontario County 911 confirms a grounds keeper on a lawnmower has fallen into a steep ravine  at Bristol Harbour Resort on Seneca Point Road. Deputies and first responders are on the scene. A rope rescue team has been called into service .  911 got the first call on the incident around 10 am. More details shortly .
