The Cayuga County Soil and Water Conservation District announced today the selection of Jim Young Interim Executive Director of the District, effective November 1, 2012. Young will assume the duties of retiring Executive Director Ronald Podolak while the District conducts a search for Podolak’s permanent successor.
In addition to being the longtime operator of Fleming Homestead Dairy Farm, Young currently serves on the District’s Board of Directors, and also sits on the Cayuga County Public Utility Services Agency and the County Parks and Trails Commission
