Geneva's crack down on crack sales continues. The Geneva Police Drug Enforcement Unit this morning with help from patrol officers and the Ontario County Emergency Response Team and K-9 unit executed a narcotics search warrant at an apartment at 500 Pulteney. The DEU had received tips from several people in the area who were bewildered by the high volume of vehicle and pedestrian traffic coming to the building.
Police Lt. Eric Heieck tells us the buyers would never stay long and that raised suspicions even more .
The Department has made a number of crack busts over the last couple of months and Heieck feels they are having an impact.
22 year old Christopher Radcliffe of Rochester was arrested for felony Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance (3rd degree) . The apartment's occupant 35 year old Tina VanDuyne was arrested for Felony Criminal Nuisance (1st Degree) for allowing the sale of crack cocaine from the apartment.
Police recovered an amount of cocaine as well as cash in the raid.
