
Gas inventories are at record lows in the Northeast and that's why many of us are paying an average of 4 dollars 14 cents a gallon , just about 40 cents a gallon more than last year.
Local Triple A spokesman Steve Pacer says gas supply is at it's lowest level since 1990 when they started keeping track. He says there are problems at refineries here and abroad.
Pacer says it may take until the end of the month for prices to start trending back downward
