It's day 2 of the Ryan Brahney murder trail in Cayuga County Court. The 40 year old Auburn man is accused of killing his ex-girl friend 29 year old Bridget Bell while their 3 year old son was asleep upstairs in Bell's apartment. It's alleged Bell was stabbed 40 times that fateful night last November.
Much of today's testimony surrounded Brahney's arrest at his uncle's home and whether or not the confession he reportedly offered was proper.
There is no jury for this trial. Judge Thomas Leone will determine whether Brahney is guilty or not.
