City of Auburn Wants to Rejuice Historic Mill St. Dam

AUBURN -- The Mill Street Dam on Owasco Street in Auburn is a popular site for walkers and joggers, the bridge above traversing the Owasco River. But the Mill Street Dam has been goen underutilized, according to many, for several years now. City Manager Doug Selby wants to take a closer look at that dam.

Doug Selby

Selby stresses, though, that the days of once again generating electricity at the Mill Street dam is still a long ways off.

Selby says he, and the City Council, will soon have a much better idea of the numbers involved.

Mr. Selby was a recent guest on "Talk of Cayuga County."
