Sheriff Says Daytime Burglaries Not Uncommon

Daytime burglaries, like the one reported Monday in the Town of Brutus, are not uncommon. Cayuga County Sheriff Dave Gould tells Finger Lakes News Radio homes are often burglarized during the day when no one is around.

Several hundred dollars in change, two laptops, and two pellet guns were allegedly taken from a home on Day Road in Brutus sometime during the daylight hours Monday. The case remains open.
