The Ontario County Office for the Aging will be distributing farmers market coupon booklets to low income seniors starting next Tuesday. Office Director Irene Coveny tells us it's part of an effort to make sure the seniors eat better.
Each booklet is worth 20 dollars and they will be available at various senior housing and meal sites and a number of town halls. The coupons are good at select farmers markets in the county.
