Ontario County Board Voting On Pay Hike For Non-Union Sheriff's Employees

The full Ontario County Board will consider a resolution tonight that would give non-union employees in the Sheriff's Office a raise for the first time in three years. Sheriff Phil Povero says critical jail, support, and 911 staff would be covered.

The raise would be two percent for this year and two percent the next year. These workers had been represented by CSEA, which was decertified earlier this year.
