NYSEG Warns Power Might be Out Until Saturday

At the height of the storm Tuesday night 70 thousand NYSEG customers lost power. The company says several thousand customers in the hardest hit areas of the storm might remain in the dark until this weekend. NYSEG tells Syracuse dot com they've had crews out around Cayuga and Tompkins counties working on repairs. Over 12 hundred NYSEG customers in Tompkins are still without power, and 851 customers in Cayuga are still in the dark.  In Schuyler County, a little less than 1,000 NYSEG customers are without power this morning.
