The Seneca County Chamber of Commerce will unleash a mob of frenzied shoppers on one unsuspecting member business in Seneca County on July 16th, from 3:30 to 5:30PM. The event is called a "Cash Mob," and the Chamber's Executive Director, Jeff Shipley, explains how the promotion works:
Shipley says previous Cash Mobs have generated more than 100 shoppers for local retailers including Sauder's Country Store, Nugent's, Rudolph & Company and Dave & Rita's Farm Market & Bakery.
The Chamber adds a little suspense to the whole affair by not divulging the location of the event until the weekend before it happens. It's all part of the promotion and according to Shipley, it's working.
Shipley says this will be the fifth Cash Mob hosted by the Chamber. For more information, or details on how you can become involved, contact the Seneca Falls Chamber of Commerce at 315-568-2906.
