Geneva Denny's Closes After Car Crashes Into Restaurant

Denny's restaurant in Geneva is closed today after a car crashed throught the building last night.

Just after 8pm, 64-year-old Kathleen Drooby of Geneva was pulling into a parking spot near the restaurant when police say she failed to stop, causing the vehicle to crash into the building.

 
The car drove onto a booth that had been cleared just moments earlier. No one was hurt by the car, but four people were injured due to falling debris. One of those injured, a three-year-old, was airlifted via Mercy Flight to Strong Memorial Hospital.

Drooby and a passenger in her vehicle were taken to the hospital as a precaution.

The investigation into the crash continues.
