Sunday Storm Update

Canandaigua Lake Boat House

Across the region we are feeling the effects of the terrible storms. Keuka and Seneca Lakes are still in a state of emergency. The flood warning for Keuka Lake has been extended until 6:45 this morning. There is a no wake order for boaters in on Keuka and Seneca Lakes due to the floating debris. In Keuka Lake, docks are underwater and the lake is above flood levels.

Village Streets that are closed or affected: East Elm Street, Champlain Avenue, Basin Street, Seneca Street. No County Roads are closed but County House Road is down to one lane. Town roads that are closed or affected: Twitchell Rd in Middlesex, Thomas Rd Potter, Hopeton Rd. Torrey, Longpoint Rd in Torrey, Eastvalley Rd in Jereseulem. State Highways Route 245 South of Middlesex is closed. Yates County Sheriff Spike says it is not certain when some of these roads will reopen.
