CNY Red Cross Pushing Emergency Preparedness

The devastation in Yates County following intense thunderstorms Tuesday night is a good reminder about being prepared for whatever Mother Nature throws your way. Kevin Carpenter is the Disaster Program Manager for the Red Cross in Central New York. He tells us about some essentials you should put together in case of emergency.

In case you're forced to leave your home, Carpenter suggests taking any important documents like birth certificates, social security cards, mortgage deeds, and insurance paperwork.
