Birkett Mills Escapes Serious Flood Damage

As cleanup continues in the village of Penn Yan, residents and business owners continue to assess the damage Tuesday night's flash flooding did.  Birkett Mills President and CEO Jeff Gifford spoke with us after checking over damage at the Mill.

Gifford said the damage at the Mill appears to be water only.

Two other businesses of Gifford's in that area, Carey's Rental Outlet and Carey's Lumber and Building Supply, escaped any significant damage.

Gifford reitereated his appreciation for the work his employees have done since the flash flood occurred.
