New Pedestrian Bridge In Flint Scheduled To Go Up Next Week

No foolin' !!!  Next Tuesday (APRIL FOOLS DAY) the New York State Department of Transportation is closing Routes 5 and 20 in Flint so Ontario Pathways can finally put up a replacement for the pedestrian bridge that was knocked down in an accident involving a farm spraying rig on June 30, 2010. DOT spokesperson Lori Maher tells us the work is expected to last 4 days. What's the best way to get around the work?

Ontario Pathways expects to re-open the bridge and reunited the north and south end of its trail system sometime in May.
