After receiving no documentation from the state Office of Fire Prevention, the Schuyler County Administrator's office and Schuyler County's Office of Emergency Management, resident Jeremy Alderson told the media the county has no specific plans for emergencies at the proposed sites of the LPG gas storage facilities in Reading. County Administrator Timothy O'Hearn says that's not true.
O'Hearn says residents need to know plans are in place.
The State DEC still has not ruled on allowing the project proposed by the company formerly known as Inergy and now called Crestwood, to move forward.
