Alderson Trespassing Case Moved Again

Tyrone Town Justice William Kennedy has recused himself from the gas storage site traspeassing case against Hector resident Jeremy Alderson.

A motion filed last year by Alderson's attorney for Kennedy to remove himself from the case was denied.  Kennedy, who also serves as Schuyler County Emergency Management Coordinator, said then a statement he made about the Inergy LP facility and potential safety issues were not a conflict for him in overseeing this case.

Alderson was arrested back on June 28th for trespassing at Inergy's facility in Reading.  No reason was given for why Kennedy backed out of the case.

The case has now been moved to the Dix Town Court, the 4th court to get the case
