Reed Seeking More LIHEAP Funds

With cold temperatures on everyone's mind this week, Congressman Tom Reed announced he will introduce a bill to direct much needed home heating assistance to low income individuals and families in the coldest states in the country.  Reed said he's using this time of year to make sure the bill makes an impact to restore the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program to its original intent.

Reed talks about what his bill will do when introduced in the next couple of days.

The LIHEAP formula is based on a computation of climate, household income and energy costs for low income households
