North Street School Receives New Lab Coats

North Street School now has new laboratory aprons to use for science experiments and crafts thanks to the Bank of the Finger Lakes.  They donated them as part of the Geneva 2020 Initiative.  The bank wanted to contribute something fun and useful, hence the lab coats.  Students already got a chance to wear the lab coats making cinnamon ornaments after school.  They will also be used for older students’ science experiments.  The hope is that by wearing a lab coat, students will perceive themselves as scientists, and ultimately become more interested and successful in the sciences.
