Auburn Salvation Army Falling Short of Goal

It's crunch time for the Auburn Salvation Army -- the final few days of the annual Red Kettle campaign. Major Dennis Smullen says they might not reach their goal of 60 thousand dollars by Christmas Eve.

Smullen says volunteers are posted in several different spots around the city.

Ever wonder where your dollars and cents are going?

Smullen says the money gets counted every day. The familiar jingling will stop as late as six o'clock the evening before Christmas. Major Smullen was a guest on the Finger Lakes Morning News. Listen to the full interview here.
