Alison Weir: What Americans Need to Know About Israel-Palestine
7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Alison Weir will discuss her new book, Against Our Better Judgment: the hidden history of how the U.S. was used to create Israel, which documents the history of the Israel Lobby in the U.S.  The book illustrates how the United States has been manipulated for over a hundred years to build and support an apartheid state, at the cost of American wealth, American lives, and American ideals.  She will also discuss the root of the current violence in Israel/Palestine, distorted media coverage of the region, and why US taxpayers continue to send Israel nearly $10 million per day.  Q & A will follow her talk, and books will be available for purchase.
