"A Wicked Run That's Wicked Fun!" A Halloween-themed, chip-timed fundraising run with prizes awarded to top fundraisers, top overall finishers, the best in each age category, and for best costumes. Choose to run a 5K or 10K course, or sign up for a 1 mile trick-or-treat family-fun walk. Come dressed in your favorite Halloween costume!  All proceeds go to benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

First United Methodist Church, 2 Chapel St., Seneca Falls, NY on Sat., Nov. 1 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.  Hand-crafted knits, quilted items, lunch, crafts, baked goods, gift baskets, Christmas decorations and More!  Public luncheon served from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm:  Chicken Corn Chowder & Minestrone Soup (available to go by the quart), pulled pork, macaroni & cheese, pie and beverage.

Bottle and Can Drive: Saturday Oct. 4 at Coon Cans in Waterloo/Seneca Falls, from 9AM - 12 PM.

Ron was diagnosed with MS in 2005. He needs medical equipment in order to walk again. Insurance is not covering the equipment. Lets help him raise the money needed. Bring your bottles and cans Saturday. Hope to see you there!

They will continue to collect for Ron after Saturday. Just let them know it is a donation for Ron Buckley.

Annual Craft and Hobby Show, Seneca Falls

The Annual Craft and Hobby Show sponsored by Xylem Inc. will be held Nov. 1, 2014 at the Seneca Falls Community Center from 10am - 3pm.  Proceeds from the concession stand will benefit the Beverly's Animal Shelter and American Cancer Society's Relay for Life of Seneca County.  There will be 40-45 vendors.

Seneca County Emergency Preparedness Drill

Seneca County Public Health Department is reaching out for volunterrs for this EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS DRILL scheduled for Saturday, November 1, 2014 from 12:30pm-2:00pm.

The recent Ebola Outbreak in Africa, pandemic flu and environmental disasters should bring the importance of the importance of this type and level of preparedness home for each of us. It is important that the Health Department is prepared to respond to such events. The Health Department has completed several drills over the years which enable us to improve upon our planning. Should an emergency arise wherby an actual mass dispensing of medication is required, our employees will be expencted to participate. What a better way to be prepared, than to take part in this drill?

We are seeking 500 volunteers to come walk through our exercise!!!

The American Red Cross will be holding a blood drive at the Naples Fire Hall, Vine Street, Naples, NY, 14512, on Monday, November 3, 2014, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

You are eligible to give blood if you are in generally good health, weigh at least 110 pounds and are 16 years of age or older.

Port Gibson, NY: Take a scenic fall drive to Port Gibson, NY and while there, enjoy a delicious home cooked Turkey Dinner at the Port Gibson Firehall, sponsored by the Port Gibson United Methodist Church. This will take place on November 1, 2014 with serving starting at 4:00 pm and serving until 6:00 pm. The dinner includes turkey, homemade stuffing, mashed potatoes from locally grown potatoes, gravy, squash (locally grown) and homemade pies. 

Advance sale tickets are $9.00 and $9.50 at the door. Children ages 5 to 10 are $5.00. Children under 5 are free. Advance sale tickets are available by calling 315-331-5621 or 315-597-2269. This is a takeout dinner with some seating available.
