Schuyler Hospital Auxiliary Fundraiser

Schuyler Hospital Auxiliary Annual Fundraiser, "Bags, Baubles and Beads" will be held on Friday, October 21, from 8 AM to 3 PM in the main lobby of Schuyler Hospital.  The sale features gently used purses, scarves, jewelry and accessories.  Many designer items and some silver, gold and collectible jewelry pieces!  All proceeds will benefit Schulyer Hospital and Seneca View Skilled Nursing.

Last Call- ATHENA Silent Auction Donations Needed by October 28th!

We are requesting silent auction donations for the 32nd Annual Canandaigua ATHENA Awards Dinner on Friday, November 18, 2016.  Please consider donating in return for recognition in the event program, exposure at the event and Chamber newsletter.  The deadline to have donation items into the Chamber is October 28th for this year’s event. Nearly 400 people are expected to attend.   A portion of the proceeds goes toward scholarships for local women.

Beginning Friday, July 8 and continuing through Friday, Nov. 18, Geneva General Hospital will host Foodlink’s Curbside Market at 158 North Street in Geneva, right next door to the hospital. The Curbside Market that will offer fresh and healthy produce at an affordable price and will be open from 10 to 10:45 a.m. The public is welcome. 

The Curbside Market will accept cash, debit, EBT, and WIC/FMNP, and every $5 SNAP purchase gets a $2 bonus.

Join us this autumn evening as we welcome and showcase the work of 5 women who have written books based on their love for the Finger Lakes region. Our featured guest is Kristan Higgins, a NY Times, USA Today, Publishers Weekely, and international best-selling author, who publishes a series of novels that are based out of the Finger Lakes, and even did research here at Fulkerson Winery! She will be accompanied by Mary Pat Hyland, Laurie Gifford Adams, Roz Murphy, and Katie O'Boyle, 4 local woman who have and continue to write books that are inspired by the Finger Lakes.

There will be wine and light fare to enjoy.

In light of many of these works containing rescue dogs as characters, will be having a silent auction throughout the event to benefit the Humane Society of Yates County-Shelter of Hope. We also encourage you to bring an item to donate on the shelter's wish list. You can view their list here!
