Rose Hill Mansion Opens

The Rose Hill Mansion will open for the 2015 season on Friday, May 1. Administered by the Geneva Historical Society, the Greek Revival mansion and National Historical Landmark perches above Seneca Lake in the heart of the Finger Lakes.

Rose Hill Mansion is located at 3373 Route 96A, about a mile south of Routes 5&20, near Geneva, New York. The house is open May 1 to October 31, Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Closed Mondays and July 4. The last daily tour is at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, at 4 p.m. on Saturday and 5 p.m. on Sundays. The grounds are open year round, free of charge.

GGH Curbside Farmers Market

On Friday, July 31, Geneva General Hospital will be hosting a Curbside Market that will offer fresh produce at a reasonable price. Foodlink’s Curbside Market will be located at 158 North Street in Geneva, right next door to Geneva General Hospital. The market will be open every Friday this summer from 10 to 10:45 a.m. The public is welcome.

 The Curbside Market will accept cash, debit, EBT, and WIC/FMNP, and every SNAP purchase gets a $2 bonus.

Keep Your Heart Up to Par Tournament
12:00 PM - 6:00 PM

The 19th annual “Keep Your Heart Up To Par” golf tournament is slated Monday,

August 3 at the Seneca Falls Country Club with a noon start. 

The tournament benefits the Geneva General Hospital Cardiac Rehabilitation

patient scholarship fund. 

Players are being sought for the four-person scramble. Cost is $70 per person.

Wheat Harvest Festival
6:30 PM - 6:00 PM

Come celebrate the Wheat Harvest Festival tradition on the grounds of the Rural Life Museum in King Ferry with a two day event,  beginnning on Friday July 31st, from 6:30 pm until dark where there will be music, food and fun.

On Saturday August 1st, start the day with a pancake breakfast from 7 am to 11 am, at the Presbyterian Church (Route 90 in King Ferry).

The Wheat Harvest Festival parade begins at 11 am at the Rural Life Museum, 920 Route 34B in King Ferry, and at noon, chicken and pulled pork dinners will be sold.
