Geneva General Remembrance Tree

All friends of Finger Lakes Health are invited to participate in the Geneva General Hospital Auxiliary’s Pinecone Remembrance Tree.
Those interested have the opportunity to make a donation of $10 for a gold-colored "Remembrance Cone" to be hung on the tree in the main lobby of Geneva General. A message will be placed on each cone in celebration of a special occasion or person, in honor of a special person, or in memory of a loved one. A commemorative registry album will be on display to acknowledge the special events and people that have been remembered.
To participate, please send $10 per cone to General Hospital Auxiliary, Geneva GeneralHospital, 196 North Street, Geneva, NY14456. If desired, an acknowledgement will be sent. For more information, call (315) 787-4065.
The Geneva General Hospital Auxiliary supports the Hospital and the LivingCenters in Geneva through donations of time and funds.

Do you have too many gifts to buy and not enough time or money? Consider giving homemade gifts made in your own kitchen using local ingredients! Join Hope Galens, Local Food Educator in making a unique carrot cake jam that uses local carrots and local pears. This hands-on class is suitable for individuals with no prior canning experience as we will be learning and canning as a group. Take some time out during this hectic season for a little “me” time and learn to make something a little out of the ordinary. Participants are asked to bring their own apron (if desired) and a dish towel to transport their jam.
Register early as there are a limited number of spaces.
Cost: $15 per individual

To Honor Our Veterans Exhibit

Free and open to the public every Thursday through Saturday from 1pm to 4pm, the Phelps Arts Center, a local non-profit, is dedicated to promoting the visual and performing artists of the region through exhibits, concerts and education.
Our current exhibit, "To Honor Our Veterans", will be on display from November 7th through December 28th. During this time, we will be honoring our veterans by exhibiting their artwork in our Main Gallery at 15 Church Street, Phelps, NY.
On exhibit are several pieces from the paintbrush, carving tool, needle point or charcoal stick from several of our men and women who have given their time and energy to Serve Our Country! We bring this to you with a deep appreciation and respect to all those that have been a part of the Military Service!
