Northern Corn Leaf Blight Workshop
1:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Northern Corn Leaf Blight is a disease that reduces corn yield by interfering with the healthy growth of corn plants during the later stages of development.  It has been prevalent in southern Cayuga County over the last three years and has been progressively spreading north.  Join us as Judith Kolkman, Research Associate at Cornell University; and Kate Wheeler, BASF; discuss methods of reducing Northern Corn Leaf Blight damage through selection of resistant seed varieties and effective fungicide controls.
