Fall Festival / Gun Raffle
12:00 AM - 4:00 PM

The Magee Volunteer Fire Department is having it's 12th Annual Fall Festival / Gun Raffle.

We raffle off 50 Guns and 6 Crossbows. We also have other raffles the day of the festval.

Tickets are $25.00 each or (5) for $100.00.

Ticket is admission into the festival and for all you can eat burgers, hot dogs, and salt potatoes. All you can drink of water, soda, and beer. We have a beer trailer. 

** If you ticket is pulled - it gets placed back into the mix **

Ticket purchases can be made the day of the raffle - tickets are available now by seeing any member of the department or visiting the department's Facebook Page by searching for "Magee Volunteer Fire Department".

5th Annual FLCC Logging Sports Competition

St. Dominic's Clothing Sale

St. Dominic's Parish will hold its annual clothing sale Thursday 9/29 from 9-7, Friday 9/30 from 9-5 and Saturday 10/1 from 8-noon at St. Dominic's Church, Route 21 and West Main St. in Shortsville. Saturday, there will be a two dollar bag sale. Please, no early birds.

Third Annual “Take a Hike, Domestic Violence!” Awareness Event

October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month

On Saturday, October 1st from 9:30am-Noon, Catholic Charities of Schuyler County is asking you to help raise awareness of the issue of domestic violence in our community.

We’ll be walking the Watkins Glen Gorge after meeting at the Catholic Charities office on Franklin Street. Registration starts at 9:30am; Hike at 10:30am.

Registration: $5 gift card to a local restaurant,
grocery store or gas station to be given to victims of domestic violence in our program

Bring your family & friends out to take a hike & make the community aware of domestic violence and the resources to help those in need of advocacy and support!

Meet at 607 N Franklin St, Watkins Glen, NY 14891 to pick up your t-shirts & drop off your donations. For more information, contact Bethany at 607.535.2050, ext. 205.

Interactive Tiny House Demonstration
10:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Every Saturday community members are welcome to visit and participate in the building of a tiny house! Guests learn basic contruction skills and information about sustainable living. Contact us through the website to participate or simply show up to walk through and look at the project. We are located in the warehouse behind the Boarhouse Beergarden and the Shops at Traders Village!
