Tiffany Sunday Concert Series

Outdoor Jazz Fest

When:  Sunday, July 27, 2014  2 PM – 5 PM

Where: Willard Memorial Chapel, 17 Nelson Street, Auburn, NY  13021

Come enjoy three jazz bands performing beloved 20th century standards from the Great American Songbook, including songs like “Unforgettable,” “Mack the Knife,” and “Blue Skies.”    These tunes remain vibrantly alive today, covered in recent years by artists such as Andrea Bocelli, Rod Stewart, actor Kevin Spacey, and young folk rock singer Brandi Carlile.

Host band for the Outdoor Jazz Fest, the Jazz Clasix, along with father/daughter duo Bobby McGee & Tammy, and Ray Braselton & Friends, will treat you to a summer afternoon’s musical journey in time on the Willard Chapel’s beautiful grounds.  All participating musicians are former “Music Show” television jazz performers from the greater Rochester and Finger Lakes region.

Sponsored by the Community Preservation Committee, this concert is our signature summer event!  Tickets for the outdoor show are only $10 a person with children 12 and under free.  They can be purchased ahead of time at the Willard Chapel or at Downtown Books in Auburn.  Grilled hotdogs, hamburgers and beverages will be available for sale, along with wine tasting for those of age with photo I.D.  Bring a chair or blanket to enjoy the show!  In case of inclement weather, the concert will take place in the Willard Chapel.  You can access the two parking lots for the chapel off Nelson Street and Seymour Street.
