Auto Tech Car Show
10:00 AM - 3:30 PM

The students from Finger Lakes Technical and Career Center (FLTCC) will
host their 20th Annual Auto Tech Car Show, Swap Meet and Arts & Craft
Show on Sunday, May 19, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the FLTCC
Campus located at 3501 County Road #20 in Stanley. This event is
free-of-charge for spectators and is open to the general public.
 
Donations will be accepted for show car registration, with all proceeds
benefiting student activities at FLTCC. Showings will include antiques,
classics, street rods, trucks, tractors, vintage race cars, motorcycles
and more. Several awards will be given out in various categories in
addition to many unique awards hand crafted by FLTCC students. To

There will be numerous student-run activities and opportunities for the
community to explore the Finger Lakes Technical and Career Center
including:
 
?Chicken BBQ by the Culinary Art Students
?Plant sale, including a variety of annuals and other plants by the
Plant Science Students
?Spa services by the Cosmetology students, including manicures,
pedicures, facials and waxing services

Taylor-Brown Golf Tournament
10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

The Taylor-Brown Auxiliary is sponsoring its 17th
annual golf tournament on Friday, June 7, at the Seneca Falls Country
Club to benefit the residents of the Huntington Living Center. Anyone
interested in participating is invited to contact Linda Quackenbush at
(315) 539-8163; Parthena Freeman at (315) 787-4920; or Debbie Lockett,
Assistant Administratorat Huntington Living Center, at (315) 787-4949.
 
The tournament is a four-person scramble and teams are being formed
now.  The cost is $65 per golfer, which includes a golf cart, lunch,
full dinner, basket drawings, and a hole-in-one contest. Shotgun start
begins at 10 a.m.
Sponsorship opportunities are available and interested businesses may
contact a member of the organizing committee.
Taylor-Brown Auxiliary supports the residents of the Huntington Living
Center through special projects and fundraising events throughout the
year.

TIFFANY SUNDAY CONCERT SERIES

 

Bells of Dawn:  A Solo Guitar Concert - by Mark Arnold

 

When:  Sunday, May 19, 2013 @ 2 PM

Where: Willard Chapel, 17 Nelson Street, Auburn,  NY

         

Classical Guitarist, Mark Arnold, will perform at Willard Memorial Chapel on Sunday, May 19, 2013 at 2 PM.  This concert will present an intimate and meditative experience.  Mark will share an interesting variety of music that evokes contemplation and celebrates the connection to music that transcends culture and time.  Bells of Dawn will feature music from around the world including Japan, South America, traditional folk songs from the United States, and more!

 

Mark graduated from Ithaca College with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in classical guitar performance and now teaches at Finger Lakes Community College in Canandaigua.  He plays a diverse selection of music including traditional and more modern classical, folk (Appalachian), and South American music.  More information on Mark and his music can be seen on his website at www.markarnoldmusic.com .

 

Tickets for this concert are $10.  Proceeds will benefit the Community Preservation Committee/Willard Memorial Chapel.
