Auburn Rotary Centennial Clock Project
7:00 AM - 10:00 AM

It's not too late to be part of the Auburn Rotary Club's Centennial Clock project this year. The Auburn Rotary Club is donating a gorgeous Verdin street clock to the City of Auburn to commemorate Auburn's 200th anniversary.

Purchase a name sponsorship to this for as little as $300.  Honor the memory of a loved one, perpetuate a family name or just show community support!

Or if you so choose, make a donation to help the Auburn Rotary Club continue with its great community service.

Learn more from AuburnRotaryNY.org

The clock will be unveiled and dedicated during Memorial Day weekend, Monday, May 25th.

Tiffany Sunday Concert Series Presents: Bob Piorun & The Swing Kats
2:00 PM - 3:30 PM

Dreading those post holiday blues?  How about some swing to help you hold onto that happy New Year feeling?  Join us at the Willard Chapel on Sunday, January 25 at 2pm for a fun afternoon concert with Bob Piorun & the Swing Kats!  Many music lovers from central New York know this group well.  The SWING KATS – Ingrid Houghton, Bernie McNabb, Marty Losito, and Cookie Coogan – are a swinging, danceable vocal quartet, with Bob Piorun providing instrumental backing. They do retro music of the Big Band era of the 1930s and on through the 1960s, all in 4-part harmony.

Individually, The Swing Kats members bring a wealth of background in musical theater, professional rock, vocal ensemble, cabaret, and musical education to their group.  Check out their website at http://www.cnysites.net/bobpiorun/swingkats/index.html for more detailed information about them.  To hear their harmonies and style of music, go to Youtube and type “Swing Kats Demo” or “Swing Kats Holiday Card 2013” in the Youtube page search box.

At the January 25th concert at Willard Chapel, there will be an intermission for refreshments.  A fully accessible entrance is located off Seymour Street on the chapel’s north side.

Tickets for this concert are $10 and are available at the door, with children 12 and under free.  Proceeds benefit the Willard Memorial Chapel.
