Auburn Rotary Club New Membership Meeting iCal

Tuesday, August 28 2012 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

On Tuesday, August 28, the Auburn Rotary Club will hold a new member  meeting from 6 to 8 pm   at JB’s Wall Street Grill,  7 Wall Street.

This meeting is open to all, 18 years old or older,  who would like to learn more about Rotary  International and  the Auburn Rotary Club.

Currently on the local level, the Auburn Rotary Club partners with Warm The Children to raise funds with the Jim Balloni Memorial Pancake  Breakfast at the Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES campus, and conducts  fundraisers  for the Joseph A. Daloia Sr., Robert J. Henderson Criminal Justice and the Auburn Area Community Health scholarships.

This year the United Way of Cayuga County partnered with Auburn Rotarians in the Marty Ferro Memorial Golf Tournament , aided Owasco Elementary School for its Books For Belize book drive, assisted the Auburn Doubledays during Dollar nights by pouring beer, and has re-established its foreign exchange student program for high school students.

In addition, the Auburn Rotary club donates to other  local youth and community organizations on a yearly basis.

Established in 1915, the Auburn Rotary Club is the third oldest established club in Central New York.   It is the goal of the club to have 100 members to celebrate its 100th year anniversary in 2015.
