Relay For Life Painting The Town Purple

The Auburn Mayor is going to proclaim May 1 May Day...the beginning of Paint the Town Purple on April 26 at 6pm at City Hall 24 South St. Auburn.
We have purple bows for $10 donation as well as setting a business challenge for Cayuga County businesses to paint their businesses purple in support of The American Cancer Society Relay For Life. We are offering 3 awards for winners of the challenge which we will be awarding at the opening ceremony at our main event at Auburn High School June 1 at 7pm.
Relay For Life is an overnight community celebration where individuals and teams camp out, dance, and take turns walking or running around the track "relay" style to raise funds to fight cancer.
This year we are working on more activities for children as well as other kinds of entertainment to keep the celebration going all through the night.
