Blood Drive to Honor Bristol Ski Patrol Member
Sunday, March 11 2012 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM
The American Red Cross has added a new blood drive to their March schedule. The drive will be held at the Sports Academy, 6385 Route 96, Victor, on Sunday, March 11, from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm. This event is being held to honor Bristol Ski Patrol member Lee Bentzoni, who recently suffered an accident and found himself in need of numerous bags of red cells and plasma. You may be eligible to give blood if you are in general good health, weigh at least 110 pounds and are 17 or older (16 with a signed copy of the New York State Informed Parental Permission for a 16-Year-Old to Donate Whole Blood form, available at the drive). Log on to www.RedCrossBlood.org, or call 1-800-REDCROSS to schedule an appointment to give. (You are always welcomed to walk-in, but appointments are suggested).
