Emerging Drug Trends Training iCal

Chemists from the DEA’s Northeast Regional Laboratory will discuss the identification of various drugs which are now prevalent throughout New York State, including: bath salts, K2/Spice, synthetic marijuana, heroin, fentanyl (synthetic heroin) and prescription drugs such as Oxycodone and Oxycontin. Drug history, effects on the body and signs of abuse will be discussed.  Special Agent Jason T. Daus will follow up with a presentation on what the DEA is seeing as far as emerging drug trends within New York State.  This training will be held at the Waterloo Holiday Inn on Thursday, June 26th from 9:00am-12:00pm.  See the attached flyer for more details.  To register or for more information contact 315-539-1905.
