Canandaigua, NY - June is synonymous with strawberry socials, strawberry sundaes, strawberry shortcake and other strawberry delights. Whether you pick them yourself, stop at a roadside stand or go to a farmer's market, strawberries are an early summer fruit that is eagerly awaited and truly loved by all. But, their time is limited so why not learn how to preserve them? At this class we will be learning how to make and can strawberry jam with balsamic vinegar and thyme. Each participant will leave with a half pint of fresh, homemade strawberry jam made from local strawberries. This class is suitable for all levels of canning knowledge.
Class Fee: $15.00 per person.
