The 3rd Annual Daddy-Daughter Air-1 Benefit Ball will be held on Friday, May 16, 2014, at the Sennett Fire Hall, Franklin Street Road, Auburn. Sponsored by the Woodmen of the World, this year's event promises to bring an enchanting evening, once again, to all of our attendees.
Join us for an evening which includes a Buffet Dinner, Dancing, Live Music, Couple-Portraits, Dance Contests, and Complimentary Wrist Corsages for all of our young ladies. Door prizes will be given away throughout the event.
Our Guest Host Emcee for the evening, Joe Salzone, Anchor/Reporter for the Finger Lakes News Radio, promises to entertain you all night long with his quick-witted and off-the-cuff commentaries. This is Joe's second year as our Emcee, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
All proceeds from the event are donated to the Air-1 Foundation. Air-1 is a search and rescue helicopter owned and operated by the Onondaga County Sheriff Department. Under mutual aid laws, Air-1 assists a total of 14 counties. Our Daddy-Daughter Air-1 Benefit Ball is part of Cayuga County's pledge to "give back" to Onondaga County's Aviation Unit. In addition to our proceeds, Cayuga County contributes $5,000 annually. Our county averages 7.2 missions annually utilizing Air-1.
