Canandaigua, NY - Bob Haggett, an Ontario County Master Gardener will give participants some advantages of lawn reduction and the use of native plants. He will discuss attracting birds and other wildlife to your backyard by providing food, cover, and water. All of these can be provided or improved by using the many examples, simple suggestions and helpful hints that he will be providing.

Bob has lived in the village of Victor, NY for the past 27 years with his wife of 44 years and with 2 indoor cats for not quite as long. He is an experienced birder, a member, field trip leader and former director of the local Rochester Birding Association and a member of the national American Birding Association. And like most of us he enjoys his gardens and yard. He is currently working with the Village of Victor to restore habitat to a creek in the village which runs across the rear of his and his neighbor’s property.
