“Advances in Shoulder Replacement in the 21st Century – The Reverse Total Shoulder” will be presented November 11 by Dr. Andrew Ritting, orthopaedic surgeon as part of Finger Lakes Health’s Fall Dine & Discuss Series. The program will begin with a 6 p.m. dinner at the Ramada Inn – Geneva Lakefront, Geneva.
Dr. Ritting specializes in hand and shoulder conditions. He will discuss changes in shoulder replacement surgery, which allow surgeons to provide the patient function in cases that they previously could not.
Dr. Ritting completed his medical education at Wake Forest University School, Winston-Salem, NC. He did his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, Farmington, CT, and a fellowship in orthopaedic hand and upper extremity surgery at the University of California-Irvine, Irvine, CA. He practices with FLH Medical, P.C. Orthopaedic Surgery and Interlakes Orthopaedic Surgery in Geneva, Clifton Springs and Penn Yan.
