Geneva, NY - Did you know that Ontario County farmers are credited as one of the largest producers of cabbage, worldwide? Cabbage is a healthy and low cost vegetable and can be used in many ways. One of the most popular ways is as sauerkraut.  Making your own sauerkraut is easier than you think and offers tremendous health benefits and tastes delicious.  We will use freshly-picked cabbages from Bejo Seeds to make sauerkraut. Participants will leave with their own pail of sauerkraut to ferment at home. 

Class fee: $15.00 per person 

Class size is limited to 12 participants.
