Ontario ARC will host its 21st annual Cruisin’ for a Cause on Saturday, August 17 on the lakeshore under the tent at Steamboat Landing in Canandaigua. One of the area’s most exciting summer happenings, proceeds from Cruisin’ for a Cause benefit the agency’s programs and services for people of all ages with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
“Fundraisers like Cruisin’ for a Cause are vital to our agency as we face challenges with our budget,” says Donna Auria, Ontario ARC’s director of community relations. “We remain strong, but our friends in the community help us become stronger.”
This year, Cruisin’ for a Cause will feature:
· Entertainment by The Skycoasters
· Exciting packages in the live auction emceed by “The Mayor” Pete Kennedy
· Unique items in the silent auction
· Complimentary wines and summer barbeque
· Scenic cruises available aboard the Canandaigua Lady
Tickets are $60 each and can be purchased online at ontarioarc.org/cruisin.
