Nature of Montezuma Lecture – Managing Habitat for the American Black Duck iCal

The Montezuma Audubon Center is pleased to welcome NYSDEC Wildlife Technician Frank Morlock for a presentation about the American Black Duck. Once considered to be the “king” of waterfowl, the American Black Duck is in severe decline. Mr. Morlock will discuss monitoring and management activities taking place across the Montezuma Wetlands Complex to bring back this imperiled bird. A guided walk to search for American Black Ducks will follow the lecture. Fee: $3/child; $5/adult, $15/family, FREE for Friends of the Montezuma Wetlands Complex.
