The Cardiac Scramble Golf Tournament, sponsored by the Penn Yan Lions
Club, will be held Wednesday, June 12 at Lakeside Country Club, Penn
Yan.
 
The event provides “scholarship” support for financially eligible
participants in the Cardiac Rehabilitation program of Soldiers & Sailors
Memorial Hospital and for charitable projects of the Lions Club. Last
year, the tournament provided $12,000 for the scholarship program in
addition to funds for Lions Club charities.
 
Hole sponsorships are available for $65 and “Champion” sponsorships for
$250. Additionally, individual sponsors may be part of “The Wall of Fame”
for a $65 contribution. Sponsors have a recognition/appreciation sign
placed on the golf course and are recognized in the tournament program.
 
The 4-person, 18-hole scramble will begin at 1 p.m. with a shotgun
start. The $75 per person entry fee includes cart, greens fee, lunch,
refreshments, and a post-round reception-dinner. There will be a silent
auction and prizes will be awarded.
