Advanced Manufacturing Pathway Project
Monday, March 25 2013 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM
High paying jobs are going unfilled in Advanced Manufacturing!
Think robotics, not wrenches…
Jobs in Advanced Manufacturing have evolved since your parents worked in the industry. Today’s manufacturing workforce is highly skilled in operating machinery using computer technology. The Advanced Manufacturing Pathway Project is designed to cover most costs associated with earning a degree in specific Advanced Manufacturing fields offered at Monroe, Genesee, or Finger Lakes Community College. There is also the possibility of additional funding that can be used for living expenses for those that qualify. High paying jobs exist in this industry and this grant is a great way to get started in the new Advanced Manufacturing Industry. For the full list of programs to choose from, information on how to apply for a grant, or more information on how Advanced Manufacturing has evolved please contact Ryan DeVay at (315) 539-1914 or attend this information session.
A public information session will be held at Seneca County Workforce Development & Youth Bureau on Monday, March 25th at 5:30pm.
